Code of Conduct

Purpose

Prasha expects that all concerned officers, staff and employees of Prasha, its subsidiaries, suppliers and affiliates shall abide by the fundamental principles of ethical behaviour listed here while performing their duties. This is in addition to compliance to local laws, rules, regulations and standards applying to our business.

Freedom and Human Rights

We support and respect human rights and their protection.  Employees are free to form/ join or not join trade unions or any similar representative organization as permitted under the law.
Forced, bonded or compulsory labour is not used by the Prasha and its affiliates. Employees are free to leave their employment after reasonable notice as specified in their employment conditions. There is no requirement of deposit of money or papers with the employer. Child labour and persons below the age of 18 years are not employed.

Non Discrimination and Employment Conditions

All employees are treated with respect and dignity. There will be no discrimination based on domicile, sex, religion, political opinion, social origin/ status, disability, age or any other characteristics protected by local law. Principal of ‘Equal pay for equal work’ is followed.

Pay and terms are fair and reasonable and are equal or higher than required by the state laws. A healthy and safe working environment is provided. Appropriate health and safety information and training is provided.

Environment Protection

Resources are to be used responsibly and carefully. Practices that reduce environmental burden are preferred.

Protecting Assets/Preventing Misuse

Employees and affiliates are to use Prasha’s property, relevant information and opportunities for Prasha’s business purposes and not for any unauthorized purpose. To properly maintain the confidentiality of information entrusted during the course of business.

Ethical Business Practices

We compete ethically and gain competitive advantage through superior performance. We do not engage in unethical or illegal trade practices. We do not offer or accept gifts or entertainment of any substantial value. No form of bribery, kickbacks or improper offers of payments to and from employees is acceptable.
